Giant Hands at Namo Ghat, Varanasi, India.

Three pairs of giant folded hands in the posture of Namaste, the Hindu way of greeting a person. Two hands, one 7.6 metres (25 feet) tall and the other 4.6 metres (15 feet) tall, are saluting the sun and the Ganga (Ganges). These hands were part of the renovation of the previously known Khidkiya ghat, which, after the installation of these giant hands (in 2022), is now known as Namo ghat. Namo is a Sanskrit synonym of Namaste.

Hand out of Water, Basilica Cistern, Istanbul, Turkey.

The 1,500-year-old Basilica Cistern is the largest and one of the most famous of the several hundred ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul, Turkey. After its restoration in 2022 a large grasping hand emerging from the water has been added to it. The climax scene of Dan Brown's thriller "Inferno" was filmed at this location.
