World's Largest Mosaic

Located in a plaza of Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico this mosaic is largest in Latin America and perhaps largest in the World. The mosaic measure 400 x 80 meters and was created using approximately 7 million tiles of various sizes having 45 different shades of colour.
It was designed by Hidalguense Byron Galvez Aviles and is titled “Homenaje a la Mujer del Mundo" (Tribute to Women of the World) and is divided in 16 modules containing 2080 figures.
