Kjeragbolten (Kjerag Boulder), Norway
It is a two metre wide boulder wedged in a mountain crevasse at the edge of the Kjerag mountain. While people who don't suffer from vertigo can access the top of the boulder without any special equipment, standing on it definitely requires some guts as there is a direct 1000 metres drop, down below to the cold waters of Lysefjorden.

you guys are crazy... how far is the drop??? enough to kill you??
Standing on the bolt is actually the easy bit, it's the waiting your turn in the line that kills you! Well it did for me anyway...the anticipation was horrendous...but being on the rock is fine as there is enough space, just don't look down. I was shaking though, especially after the long hard hike up there. In fact the hike itself is far worse in my opinion...hardest thing I've ever done! The lungs were bursting on the way up, and knees were killing on the way down...which was actually almost worse. Still an amazing experience to have done it - has put me off hiking again though!
Thank you Evie for sharing your experience.
