Brush strokes of Nature has created some wonderful and beautiful surrealistic paintings on the Earth canvas. Till now these works of arts were visible only to a select group of high altitude fliers or astronauts. However Google Earth and other similar applications have made it possible for most of us view these awesome pieces of art. Here is an example - I will add more later.
Lake Natron in Tanzania is World’s most caustic body of water, where microorganisms such as Spirulina, a blue-green algae with red pigments, living on the water's salty crust create a palate of pink.
Note: This aerial imagery is part of "Africa Megaflyover" Photographs by J. Michael Fay and are included in National Geographic Layer of Google Earth.
