Giant Hand at Giza Pyramid, Egypt
The artwork by French artist JR: is part of the "Forever Is Now" exhibition consisting of of large-scale artworks installed along the trail leading up to Wonders of the World. Made of steel-and-mesh the sculpture depicts a giant hand holding a postcard of the pyramid. When viewed from the front of the hand, it creates an illusion as if the top of the pyramid has broken from it and is levitating above it.

Giant "Buddha's hand" Supporting Pedestrian Bridge, Youxi, Sanming, Fujian, China
Located at an elevation of 1000 meter, near the Guxi Xinghe Leisure Tourism Resort, Guxi Youxi, Sanming, Fujian, China is huge hand of Buddha supporting a 99 metres long rainbow coloured pedestrian bridge. The white jade hand is 19 metres high. As per chinanews.com it is China's first hanging rainbow fairy hand bridge.

"Buddha's Hand", Xiandao Lake Scenic Spot , Yangxin County, Huangshi, Hubei, China
Another gigantic hand of Buddha overlooking the Xiandao Lake. Like other such hands it is also very popular photo shoot spot.
Credits: The location of this hand has been found by combined efforts of several members of the Google Earth Community Forums.
Gigantic Palm on Ground, Erenhot, Inner Mongolia, China
A gigantic "Buddha's palm" on the grassland near Erenhot city in Inner Mongolia. As per measurement in Google Earth the artwork measures about 198 metres from the tip of middle finger to the end of palm and about 190 metres from the outer edge of thumb to the outer edge of little finger. It occupies an area of about 40,000 square meter, almost equivalent to six football fields.
Not much information is available about this artwork or its creator is available. Although it was first reported by chinadaily.com on 22nd August 2018 it can be seen in the Google Earth imagery of 25th May 2016.

Stairs leading to a gigantic hand of Buddha overlooking the Qingyuan Gulong Gorge. Such designs are very popular photo shoot spots in Far East, China, Philippines etc.

Hand or Palm on a standard known as Panja (meaning 5) is an important symbol in the Shiite world including Iran. "It represents the five infallible (1) Prophet Muhammad, his daughter (2) Bibi Fatima, her husband (3) Imam Ali and their sons (4) Imam Hasan and (5) Imam Hussain".

Hand showing 4-fingers has been used by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğann at his public meetings salute. It was earlier linked to the symbol of resistance by the Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt.
The pedestal of the monument bears the slogan of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his signature and his name. The slogan translated into English reads "One Nation, One Flag, One Homeland, One State".

Memorial to the Victims of the Estonia Ferry Disaster, is dedicated to the residents of Võru who died in the ferry disaster during the stormy night of September 28, 1994. Located in front of Catherine's Church, the memorial an artwork of sculptor M. Karmin, was built in 1996 and depicts a hand coming out of a tilted, capsizing piece of rectangular cuboid.

The Healing Hands, Inns Quay, Dublin, Ireland
Located in a park outside Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin the sculpture is a hollow bronze sphere with hand cut-outs all over its surface. It is supported on tree trunk shaped pedestal and an eternal flame burns inside at its centre. The shapes of hand cut-outs on the sphere were obtained by the artist from patients and staff in the hospital. .
The artwork is a creation of Tony O'Malley and was commissioned by the hospital to mark the 3rd millennium.
The sculpture has a symbolic meaning, the healing touch of Christ, the tree trunk with flame inside the sphere represents the burning bush and the hand cut-outs represent the foliage of the bush.

"Dove of Peace" Monument, Armavir, Russia
Located on Marshal Zhukov street, the monument consists of two white hands releasing a white dove. The dove was inspired from a 1949 drawing by Pablo Picasso and was chosen as a sign of friendship of the numerous (about 100) nationalities living in the city. At night the rainbow lights are turned on illuminating the monument.

The monument in the shape of a pair of praying hands resting on an open book is located in the Krasnogvardeyskiy Park.
The Beslan school massacre is considered to be the deadliest school shooting in history. It was perpetrated by a terrorist group who, on September 1, 2004, raided the school and took more than 1,100 people as hostages (including 777 children). Subsequent attempt to break the siege and to free the hostages ended in the deaths of 333 people, 186 of them children.

The artwork titled "Make Street Art Don't Bomb" was created by Alexander Zhunev and is located on Komsomol'skiy Prospekt, Perm, Russia.
In the words of the artist;.
"The sculpture consists of an iron base, a hand protruding from it, made of cylinders, and a bomb made of cylinders, which is squeezed by a hand. The sculpture is mounted on a flexible spring so that it can be shaken. At the same time, there is a rumble of many balls inside the cylinders, which are needed to stir the paint. The bomb in the hand symbolizes the cylinders of paint with which graphites "bomb" the walls, and shake them before that. The inscription "make street art. Don't bomb" means it's better to do street art than to bomb. . Also in the sculpture there is an anti-war meaning. It shows that street art can also be a "tool", but peaceful. It is an alternative to bombing and military action; with the help of street art, you can "conquer" the consciousness of people and convey the right thoughts to them".

The Hand at Balka Smerti, Novobessergenevka village, Rostov Oblast, Russia
A monument in Petrushina Ravine, close to Taganrog city, dedicated to the Jews of the city who were murdered by German SS units in October 1941. The ravine is now referred as the "Balka Smerti" (Eng: Ravine of Death).
The memorial is 18 meters tall and the hand measures 4 meters.

Homage to Ibizan Hound, Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain
Located in a roundabout in Ibiza town, the monument to the this native breed of dog, consists of 5 hounds in different hunting postures placed on a giant open hand. Originally there were 7 hounds but two hounds were stolen after its inauguration in August 2010. The artwork is creation of Andreu Moreno and the hand is made of fibre while the hounds are made of bronze and steel.

Hand Holding an Autopsy Stone, El Boalo, Madrid, Spain
A rather bizarre monument to the autopsy table stone of the autopsy room at the local cemetery. The stone weighs about a ton and the hole in the centre of the stone served as the drain for the body fluids etc.
The text on the near by plaque reads;.
"The sculptural ensemble that makes up the hand holding the stone, represents the link between the past, the present and the future and is a tribute to our ancestors. The stone extracted and carved by hand by stonemasons of the place has an approximate age of about 200 years and has been part of the most intimate reality of the life of the people of El Boalo all this time. The hand is a design by the author Angel Estévez Segovia with which he has tried to extol La Vida and capture the effort of daily work. "The Hands That Carried The Iron", Arboga, Sweden
Iron ore was a an important commodity in the area and river Arboga was one of the main transportation route. Two sculptures, close to each other, have been installed at the river front as a memorial to the workers engaged in handling the ore. One sculpture shows a steel bar supported on open hands and the second sculpture shows two clenched hands holding a steel bar.

"Future in Hand", Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, UK

The Giant Hand of Vyrnwy, Lake Vyrnwy Estate, Powys, Wales, UK
This giant hand was carved out of the remnants of the UK's tallest tree, a 124-year old Douglas fir, which was felled after being damaged in a storm in 2011. The original tree was 63.7 metres (209 ft) tall. The sculpture was created by artist Simon O'Rourke who modelled it after his own hand.

"In Perspective" by Lorenzo Quinn, Donetsk, Ukraine
Installed in front of the Donetsk National Academic Music and Drama Theatre, the hand was a gift by oligarch Rinat Akhmetov on the the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his company System Capital Management (CJM). The artwork was commissioned in November 19, 2010 and the inscription on the pedestal read:.
"We live in a very fragile world.
The future that is in our hands.
Everyone can make this world a better place.
Try to put it in perspective".
Originally two fingers were holding a crystal lens which was stolen in 2012. It was later replaced by a thimble. In May 2018 the sculpture was dismantled by some militants and its present whereabouts and status are not known.

Hand monument to the Liquidators of the Chernobyl Disaster, Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine
The monument located in or about Heroiv Square/Mira Avenue is dedicated to the Chernobyl liquidators and depicts two large hands holding a symbolic image of an atom. Commissioned in Summer of 2019 it is an artwork of Vladimir Tokar.
As per Wikipedia, the "Chernobyl liquidators were the civil and military personnel who were called upon to deal with the consequences of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster in the Soviet Union on the site of the event. The liquidators are widely credited with limiting both the immediate and long-term damage from the disaster".

This hand is part of series of sculptures titled "Missing the Mark" by Gale Hart and is spread near about the Golden 1 Centre. The sculptures depicts a disassembled dartboard - a giant bronze hand holding a flight, few flights lying on the ground, ten-foot darts etc.
