World's Largest Tree Top Hotel is reportedly The Ariau Amazon Towers - an hotel on stilts - on the Amazon River's tributary Rio Negro. It consists of eight treetop wooden towers having 268 treetop rooms, suites and tree houses located at an elevation of 10- 20 meters above the Amazonian rainforest floor.

Besides residential accommodation the complex also has two treetop swimming pools, two observation towers and a panoramic auditorium. All these are interlinked by catwalks on stilts having a total length of about 8 km. The tallest dwelling unit is the Tarzan House, built on top of a Mahogany tree at the height of 22 metres from the ground.

As per hotel management the idea for the hotel came from famous oceanographer Jacques Cousteau. The hotel is functioning since 1987 and has been locale for a movie (Anaconda) and few TV serials.
