The Pole House is actually a large room perched on a giant high concrete pedestal, anchored deep into the sand dunes. It is connected to the main house by an elevated walkway and is located at Fairhaven beach, near the start of the Great Ocean Road (eastern end) in Victoria, Australia.

It was built in 1978 by architect/engineer Frank Dixon and is supposedly the most photographed building on the Fairhaven beach.
